Frequently Asked Questions
Learn More about Our Work and Impact
Is Hope for the Hungry a Feeding Ministry?
We are not a food organization. Instead, our mission is to feed people who are hungry for the security, safety, and salvation of Jesus. While not a food pantry, HFTH does have two locations that offer food, when available, at no cost. For times and locations, call our office.
Do you offer housing for the homeless?
HFTH does not have housing for the homeless. We can offer referrals to organizations that specialize in housing and shelter for individuals and families.
Are you a faith-based organization?
Hope for the Hungry is a Christian nonprofit. However, we serve individuals and communities of all faiths.
Where do you operate?
Although we serve communities across 14 different nations, our offices can be found in Belton, TX.
Do you take donations?
Monetary donations are always welcome and go to support our local and worldwide partners. Food and clothing items are welcome at the Blessing Boutique on our property, and food is welcome at the Hope House Community Fridge. Please call for more information and directions.
How will my donation be used?
You can learn more about our various initiatives and projects here. If there is a cause that speaks to you, let our team know at the time of your donation.
I’m not able to donate money. Are there other ways to contribute?
HFTH is grateful for your support, no matter what form it takes. Visit our other pages to learn more about how you can help our cause by volunteering or spreading the word.
Can I bring a group for a service project?
Please call the office to discuss the possibility of group service projects.
Can we do a collection drive for you? What do you need?
There are several seasons throughout the year when ministries ask for collections. Please call if you have questions, and follow our social media for ideas and information.
